Date Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter, melted
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. sugar
8 oz. box chopped dates
2 to 2 3/4 c. Rice Krispies
3/4 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box coconut
Preparation

Melt butter and add egg, sugar and chopped dates.
Cook in skillet at 300\u00b0 for 6 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add cereal, nuts and vanilla.
Form balls and roll in coconut.
