Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small cans crushed pineapple (don't drain)
    1 large jello or 2 small apricot or peach flavor
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Put pineapple and juice from can in pan with jello.
    Bring to boil.
    Set aside and cool.
    Add buttermilk and Cool Whip.
    Beat and put in dish.
    Refrigerate.
