Georgia Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cut okra
    2 sliced onions
    6 tomatoes, peeled and sliced
    1/4 c. bacon fat
Preparation
    Saute onions in bacon fat until tender.
    Place sliced tomatoes on top of onions.
    Pour okra over top.
    Salt and pepper on top of okra.
    Also, sprinkle about 2 tablespoon sugar over all.
    Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over all.
    Cook in skillet.
    Cover and cook slowly 1 hour.
    Server over rice.
    This is for fresh vegetables only.
