Unleavened Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whole-wheat flour
    1/2 c. white flour
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. soft margarine
    2 Tbsp. honey
    1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. hot water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 c. warm (not hot) water
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 egg, beaten
    5 1/4 c. sifted flour (about)
Preparation
    Combine hot water, sugar, salt and shortening. Cool to lukewarm.
