Ingredients

1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. chocolate chips
2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a bowl, cream together butter and brown and white sugars.
Add eggs and beat well.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, soda and salt.
Add to butter mixture. Blend.
Stir in chocolate chips, oatmeal, vanilla and nuts.
Blend thoroughly.
Drop by the tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool.
Makes 36 cookies.
