Tomato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
3 medium tomatoes, sliced thin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. basil
1/4 c. chopped fresh chives
1/2 c. mayo
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Bake pie crust at 425\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven; reduce heat to 400\u00b0.
Cover bottom of pie crust with tomato slices; sprinkle with salt, pepper, basil and chives.
Combine mayo and cheese; spread evenly over top, making sure to seal the edges of the pie crust completely.
Bake 35 minutes.
