Cherry Crisscross - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. milk
    2 cans cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix together flour, sugar, margarine, baking powder, baking soda and salt as for pie dough.
    Beat the eggs, vanilla and milk. Add it to the dry ingredients. Will be dry.
    Take 2/3 of dough and press on cookie sheet.
    Put cherry pie filling on dough.
    Roll out 1/3 of dough.
    Cut in strips and put on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
