Date Orange Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 beaten eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 c. chopped dates
2 c. pecans
2 Tbsp. orange peel

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs; mix dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
Bake 2 hours at 275\u00b0.
