Mushroom Business - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
    8 slices white bread
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    2 eggs
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/4 c. grated yellow cheese
    butter
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Clean and slice mushrooms.
    Saute in butter until slightly cooked.
    Butter 3 slices of bread.
    Trim crusts and cut into 1-inch squares.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
