Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow or white corn meal
    2 c. sweet milk, scalded
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Add corn meal to scalded milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumping.
    Combine butter; blend until smooth.
    Cool slightly.
    Add well beaten egg yolks, beating while adding.
    Combine salt, sugar and baking powder, then stir in.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Pour into a hot baking or casserole dish.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Cook for 30 minutes.
    Serve hot.
    Bread will be soft; serve with spoon.
