Angel Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (we prefer pecans)
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugars until light and fluffy.
    Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
    Add dry ingredients and stir in nuts. Drop from spoon onto baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0; takes 10 to 15 minutes.
