Southern Ham And Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    4 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    butter, melted
    cooked ham, sliced and cut into 1 1/4-inch squares
Preparation
    Cut 1 cup butter into flour until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Stir in buttermilk until dry ingredients are moistened. Knead dough 3 or 4 times on lightly floured surface.
    Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut with a 1 1/2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheets.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes.
    Brush with melted butter.
    Serve with ham and mustard.
