Ambrosia Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) box orange jello
    1 (12 oz.) small curd cottage cheese
    1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 (11 oz.) mandarin oranges
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Drain the fruit and set aside.
    Slice oranges in half. Combine cottage cheese, Cool Whip and dry gelatin.
    Stir well and add fruit.
    Chill at least an hour.
    May be served on lettuce.
