Chicken Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, browned
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 to 4 stalks celery, diced
    3 to 4 onions, diced
    2 tsp. garlic
    carrots, cut in small slices
    5 or 6 potatoes
    dumplings
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt, paprika and pepper; coat chicken and brown. Fill large kettle, a little over half, with water.
    Add chicken. Add celery, onions, garlic, carrots and potatoes.
    Cook for 2 hours or until chicken is done.
    Take chicken out and debone.
    Place chicken back in stew.
    Add dumplings; this will make the stew thicken.
    If too thick, just add a little water.
