Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 (16 oz.) can pineapple
2 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. pineapple juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted flour
1/3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

In heavy 10-inch skillet (ovenproof) or 10-inch baking dish, melt the butter and sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the butter.
Arrange drained pineapple in an attractive pattern on the sugar coating.
