Cherry Chip Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    5 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine pie filling, cake mix, eggs and almond extract in large bowl.
    Mix until well blended.
    Spread mixture into a lightly greased and floured 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Cool.
    Combine sugar, milk and margarine in small saucepan.
    Mix well.
    Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
    Remove from heat, add chocolate chips.
    Stir until melted.
    Spread over cooled brownies. Cool completely and cut into bars.
