Milk Gravy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 or 3 Tbsp. shortening
2 or 3 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk (whole milk is best)
1/2 tsp. salt
sugar to taste
Preparation
-
Heat shortening; add flour and stir until smooth.
Continue stirring while adding milk, salt and sugar.
Boil until desired thickness.
Pour over bread slices.
