Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter; gradually add sugar.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg, milk and vanilla.
In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Gradually add and combine flour, baking powder and salt to butter mixture.
Mix well.
Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour.
Roll on lightly floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness.
Cut desired shapes.
Place on ungreased sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
