Cowboy Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pinto beans
    7 c. water
    2 lb. ham hock
    16 oz. can tomato paste
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 oz. can green chiles
Preparation
    Soak beans.
    Add ham hock and cook 1 hour.
    Take out ham and dice.
    Return to beans.
    Add paste, onion, sugar and chiles. Simmer until done.
