Gloria'S Sweet Potato Casserole(My Husband Loves This Casserole; It'S A Great Dessert.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can yams, drained and mashed
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 c. white sugar
2 sticks butter
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1 egg, beaten
3 ripe bananas, mashed
3 Tbsp. sour milk
2 c. flour
pinch of salt
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. soda
1 (14 oz.) bag Kraft caramels
5 fl. oz. can evaporated milk
1 box Betty Crocker German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. margarine
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Preparation

Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk over low heat until smooth.
Combine 1/4 cup evaporated milk, cake mix and margarine; mix well.
Press 1/2 cake mixture into 13 x 9-inch ungreased pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350\u00b0.
