California Vegetable Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. sliced zucchini
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. dill weed
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury crescent rolls
1 c. Cheddar cheese
5 tomato slices
Preparation

Brown meat and onions; drain.
Add salt and pepper.
Saute zucchini and green pepper in margarine for 5 minutes.
Add dill weed.
Make crust from the dough.
Place meat and half of the cheese, then the vegetables in pie shell.
Add remainder of cheese and top with tomato slices.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Let stand about 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with sour cream or plain yogurt topping.
