Bitoks Au Vin Rouge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 slices stale bread
    1/4 c. milk
    3/4 lb. chuck, chopped
    1 medium onion
    butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 Tbsp. white cornmeal
    salt
    pepper
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 c. dry white wine (could also vary by substituting with red)
    1 tsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Crumble slices of stale bread and soak in milk.
    Add ground beef (chuck) and onion (finely chopped) and sauteed in butter; add beaten eggs, uncooked white cornmeal, salt, pepper and a little nutmeg.
    Combine the mixture thoroughly and let it stand for 1 hour or more.
