Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 c. milk
6 c. diced rhubarb
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
Preparation

Blend first 5 ingredients with pastry blender.
Add egg and milk.
Press dough into bottom of 9 x 13-inch cake pan and up on the sides a bit.
Place rhubarb into cake shell and sprinkle with Jell-O.
