Butterscotch Nut Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
9-inch baked pie shell
Preparation

In saucepan, heat milk until bubbles form around sides of pan, set aside.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Gradually add sugar, flour and salt and stir until smooth.
Add hot milk, stirring with wire whisk.
Cook until mixture begins to boil, boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
