Savory Chicken Tarragon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine or butter
    1/2 c. sliced onion
    2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
    1 1/2 c. diced, cooked chicken (about 1 lb. boneless chicken)
    1 1/2 c. sliced carrots
    1/3 c. chopped fresh parsley
    3/4 tsp. dried tarragon leaves
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    2 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. water, divided
    1 3/4 c. chicken broth (homemade or one 14 1/2 oz. can)
    1 3/4 tsp. lemon juice
    3 c. pasta (rotini, twirls or curly-roni, uncooked; 8 oz.)
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Melt margarine in a 4-quart saucepan; add onion and garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add chicken, carrots, parsley, tarragon and pepper; cook until chicken is lightly browned.
