Special Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large cabbage head
1 large onion
3/4 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. salad oil
Preparation

Grate cabbage and onion.
Mix together in large bowl.
Boil together vinegar, sugar, salt and salad oil.
Pour the boiling mixture over the cabbage and onion, but do not touch it.
Leave as is for 1 1/2 hours, then mix or toss together.
Store in covered container in refrigerator at least 12 hours before serving.
This will keep quite awhile in refrigerator.
Great with barbecue and baked beans.
