Corncob Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 bright red corncobs
    3 pt. water
    1 pkg. fruit pectin
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Boil corn in water for 30 minutes.
    Remove from heat and strain.
    If needed, add enough liquid for 3 cups.
    Add pectin; boil.
    Add sugar and boil 2 to 3 minutes until at jelly stage.
    It tastes like apple jelly.
    Put in jelly glasses.
