Banana Nut Cake(Probably The Best Dessert We Make At Starting From Scratch) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    1 1/4 c. very ripe bananas (at least 7 days old)
    2/3 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cream the shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Add dry ingredients and buttermilk.
    Mix in bananas until batter is smooth.
    Fold in walnuts.
    Pour batter into 2 (9-inch) greased cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cake tests done, about 25 minutes.
    Turn out on rack and cool.
