Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 bottle red food color
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream
    margarine and shortening with sugar.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift
    flour,
    baking powder and salt together.
    Add alternately with
    milk.
    Add
    vanilla and food coloring.
    Mix well.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0 in a tube pan.
