Pickled Pineapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pineapple chunks (20 oz.)
    1 can pineapple chunks (8 1/4 oz.)
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    6 to 8 whole cloves
    2 (3-inch) sticks cinnamon
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
    Combine juice, sugar, salt and spices in saucepan; bring to boil and simmer 10 minutes, uncovered.
    Add pineapple and bring to boil.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Refrigerate at least 5 days before serving.
    Keeps quite a long time.
