Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. self-rising cornmeal
1/3 c. self-rising flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1/3 c. chopped onion
dash of garlic powder

Preparation

Mix and let stand a while before cooking.
Drop by a teaspoon into hot oil.
