Perfect Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 double pie crust
1 tsp. flour
6 c. thinly sliced, peeled apples
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Combine apples, sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and lemon juice.
Toss lightly.
Roll pie crust and place in tin.
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon flour in bottom of pan.
Spoon apple mixture into crust.
Slice butter and put it on top of apples. Top with second crust; flute edges and cut slits in top.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender and top is golden brown.
Cover the edge of crust with strips of foil for 15 to 20 minutes of baking time to prevent excessive browning. Serves 8.
