Paul Horining Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef, cubed
    1 c. diced celery
    6 carrots
    5 potatoes
    1 can peas with juice
    1 slice white bread
    2 to 4 onions
    1 large can tomatoes
    1/4 c. tapioca
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cube meat and cut vegetables to bite size pieces.
    Use the juice from the peas for liquid.
    Cut bread into small pieces.
    Mix all together in a large pan and add tapioca, sugar, salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover and bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours or longer.
