Jello Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large pkg. or 4 small pkg. Jell-O (use 2 colors)
    1 1/2 envelopes Knox gelatine (plain)
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    boiling water
Preparation
    Mix 1 large or 2 small packages (same flavor) of Jell-O with 2 cups boiling water.
    Put in 13 x 9-inch pan; let set for 2 hours. Mix 1 1/2 envelopes Knox gelatine with 1/2 cup boiling water. Bring 1 cup heavy cream and 1/2 cup sugar to a boil, then add to plain gelatine with 1 cup sour cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Let stand until cool.
    Spoon over congealed Jell-O.
    Let stand for 2 hours.
