Fudge Turnover Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 envelope (1 oz.) premelted unsweetened chocolate
    1 1/4 c. hot water
    1/2 c. salted pecan halves
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 c. dairy sour cream
    1 egg
Preparation
    Preheat
    oven
    to
    350\u00b0.
    Grease
    bottom and sides of 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Combine
    in
    casserole the flour, sugar, soda, salt,
    vanilla
    extract,
    sour cream, shortening, chocolate, egg and 1/4 cup hot water.
    Blend.
    Beat vigorously with wooden spoon for
    1 1/2 minutes.
    Sprinkle pecans over batter. Cover with brown
    sugar
    and cocoa.
    Pour 1 cup hot water over sugar mixture. Bake
    at
    350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes until cake springs back
    when lightly touched.
    Loosen edges with spatula (invert on plate immediately).
