Tomatoes With Basil - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large, fresh tomatoes, sliced
1/4 c. finely chopped, fresh basil
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
3/4 c. olive oil
Preparation

Layer tomato slices in ceramic or glass serving dish.
In small bowl, whisk together basil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper.
Whisk in olive oil until well mixed, then immediately pour over tomatoes.
Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes, then serve.
