Pork Chop Casserole #1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 10 pork chops (according to size) *
    1 c. rice (not instant)
    10 oz. can onion soup
    10 oz. can beef consomme
    mushrooms (optional)
    salt and pepper
    1/2 stick margarine
Preparation
    Salt and pepper and brown chops.
    Pour rice along with soup, consomme and mushrooms.
    Stir together.
    Lay chops on top, adding margarine to top of chops.
    Cover and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
