Porcupine Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cut up dates
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 lb. butter
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. chopped nuts
    flaked coconut
Preparation
    In saucepan, put dates, beaten egg, sugar and butter.
    Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
    Cool.
    Add Rice Krispies and chopped nuts.
    Stir.
    Mix into small balls and roll in flaked coconut.
