Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. squash
    5 soda crackers
    2 eggs
    1 medium onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion until tender; drain.
    Mash and add egg yolks.
    Crumble crackers; add butter.
    Add to squash mixture; salt and pepper to taste.
    Beat egg whites and stir in.
    Put in casserole dish and sprinkle cheese on top.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
