Ground Beef Appetizers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf cocktail-size rye bread (Pepperidge Farm)
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. crumbled Bleu cheese
    2 to 3 dashes oregano
    2 to 3 dashes thyme
    2 dashes each: salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients by hand, breaking up any large chunks of cheese.
    Spread evenly, not thick, to edges of rye bread.
    Put under broiler for 2 to 3 minutes or until bubbly.
    The crusts burn easily, so watch carefully.
    Serve immediately.
    Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
