Stuffed Bell Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large green peppers
    5 c. boiling water
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    dashes of salt
    1/8 tsp. garlic salt
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut thick slice from stem end of pepper. Cook peppers in boiling water 5 minutes; drain.
    Cook and stir ground beef and onion; drain fat.
    Stir in salt, garlic salt, rice and 1 cup tomato sauce; heat thoroughly.
    Lightly stuff each pepper.
    Stand peppers upright in greased baking dish.
    Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers.
    Cover and bake 45 minutes. Uncover.
    Bake 15 minutes longer.
