Krispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. white sugar
    3/4 c. salted butter, softened
    1 large egg
    2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
    1 c. crispy rice cereal
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) coarsely chopped crispy rice chocolate bars
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt and soda.
    Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside.
    In a large bowl, blend sugars with an electric mixer at medium speed.
    Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste.
    Add egg and vanilla.
    Beat at medium speed until fully combined.
    Add flour mixture, rice cereal and chocolate chunks.
    Blend at low speed until combined. Do not overmix.
    Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets 2 inches apart.
    Bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Immediately transfer cookies to a cool, flat surface.
