Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter, softened
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. white chocolate chips (10 oz. pkg.)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine flour, cocoa, soda and salt. Set aside.
Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs 1 at a time, beating after each.
Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in white chocolate and nuts, if desired.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 9 to 10 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
Let stand 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
