Crunchy Fudge Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips
    1 c. creamy peanut butter
    8 c. Rice Krispies
    12 oz. chocolate chips
    1 c. powdered sugar
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine (not soft or lite margarine)
    2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Melt 6 ounces butterscotch chips with 1/2 cup peanut butter in heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring until blended.
    Stir in 4 cups Rice Krispies.
    Press into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Chill. Stir over hot water chocolate chips, powdered sugar, butter and water until melted and blended.
    Spread over chilled mixture.
    (Do not chill after adding chocolate layer.)
    Melt the rest of the butterscotch chips and peanut butter; stir rest of Rice Krispies and spread over chocolate layer (do this as quickly as possible after spreading chocolate).
    Press lightly.
    Chill.
    Cut into squares.
