Short Ribs With Korean-Style Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. sesame oil
    2 tsp. sesame seed
    2 tsp. white vinegar or rice wine vinegar
    5 garlic cloves, pressed
    2 tsp. minced ginger
    ground black pepper
    18 scallions, trimmed
    6 (1 to 1 1/2-inch) inch beef short ribs or 1 to 1 1/2 lb. flank steak or other beef
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large Ziploc bag. In it place the meat to be marinated.
    Marinate overnight, turning bag occasionally.
    Remove meat from marinade.
    Place marinade in a saucepan and bring to a boil, reducing slightly.
    Grill meat over charcoal, basting with marinade.
    Grill scallions during last 4 to 5 minutes of cooking time.
