Ingredients

1/2 c. milk
2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
3 Tbsp. chunky peanut butter
1/2 c. butter or margarine
3 c. old fashioned rolled oats, uncooked
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Wipe interior of 3-quart saucepan with butter just below rim. Combine milk, sugar, cocoa, peanut butter and butter in pan.
Stir and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Boil for 1 1/2 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat.
Stir in rolled oats and vanilla.
Stir until well blended.
Drop by teaspoon onto a buttered baking sheet or waxed paper.
Cool before serving.
Makes 4 to 5 dozen small cookies.
