Lucy Kammerdiener'S Mayonnaise Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. cold water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine and sift flour, baking soda, sugar, cocoa and salt. Add mayonnaise, cold water and vanilla.
    Blend well.
    Pour batter into two greased 8-inch round cake pans.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 or a 9 x 13-inch pan for 35 minutes.
