Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Boil beets in large amount of water until tender.
    Remove hot water and cool down before peeling beets.
    Slice beets in whatever shape you prefer.
    Cover beets in solution mixture as given until completely covered.
    Bring to a boil; fill sterilized jars and seal.
