Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
4 sq. (4 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Melt butter or margarine and the unsweetened chocolate in saucepan over low heat.
Remove from heat and cool slightly. Blend sugar into melted chocolate and the eggs, one at a time. Beat for 1 minute.
Add flour, baking powder, salt (sifted) and walnuts (optional).
Mix well.
Chill for 1/2 hour.
Shape into balls, using one teaspoon of dough for each.
Roll in confectioners sugar.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
