Ingredients

1/3 c. butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. flour
2 Tbsp. butter (for sauteing apples)
2 Granny Smith apples, pared and thin sliced
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. orange or ginger marmalade, melted
Preparation

Beat butter and sugar together until fluffy.
Beat in egg and salt.
Gradually add flour to make a soft dough.
Cover tightly. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
Roll dough on floured surface to make 10-inch circle.
Place in glass quiche pan or round tart pan.
